What a place!!! Must see if you like history and legends. Though you need to have a guide.

Please educate yourself before entering! We did the whole walkthrough backwards...you should first see the Forum ruins, then the Palatine Hill. It seems to make more sense anyway. Enjoy!

Absolutely gorgeous! It is a must see in Rome. A huge hill overlooking the city. Includes a museum as well.

It's an invaluable experience. We loved all of it! Archeology, history, humanity, aristocracy, luxury living and smart architecture/engineering of past people will make you think more of humanity :)

My absolute favorite. We had a very educated and experienced guide who participated in the dig. She was supremo! My favorite because of the preserved times of Roman society. Quite sacred, I felt.

Amazing views of the city & wonderful ruins to wander through! Worth stopping here first to pick up your combined ticket for the Colosseum as the queues there are absolutely ridiculous.
